Ocean, Jungle and Hospitality

Welcome to the jungle.

Welcome to the jungle.

Today I write about another amazing three day tour in Vietnam.  It led me to the Ocean and the jungle east of Saigon. As on the Mekong Delta trip I was going with a 150 cc scooter, accompanied by Loan and her lovely guides. We went to the beach, traveled through the jungle, were hosted at the home of Mrs. Lynn who took it very literally to provide enough food and drinks. This, again is dedicated to photography, food, driving and beautiful spots.

In the dunes

See these beautiful Pics of the dunes and the ocean. These are shot already on the morning after our depart.

First we went for delicious fresh crabs. Then in the evening we started a fire to have a barbecue on the beach with some more fish, sweet potato and beer.

Fire!

I remained a bit longer on the beach to aspire the night-atmosphere and to photograph again.

Then the jungle hotel waited for me.

Next morning we went to the dunes and then on to the jungle. Then it was cooking time to have delicious meal at mrs. Lynn house.

As always good food is very important in Vietnam. Near the ocean sea food is favorite. You never remain hungry as people care for you.

After having slept well at Mrs. Lynn house we went to a nearby harbor, where obviously only rarely tourists arrive. People are open-minded and friendly.

See you girls.

It’s been a wonderful tour. My stomach has grown somewhat as Mrs. Lynn was in charge to never let me hungry or thirsty. Everything was charming, the host, the guides, the people we met.

This tour has been undertaken with local guides which is a good idea in such an exotic country. The wonderful guides of Tiger Tours in Saigon offer motorcycle tours which guide you to highly interesting points and authentic vietnamese life. I recommend them because they really care of you. There is always plenty of delicious food and beverages, great hospitality and explanations where important. If you wish to take great pictures, they will make it possible. All that for reasonable prices. Check out at www.mytigertour.com
